Air Alert® utilizes a very unique and safe principle that we developed in 1991 called Habitual Jump Training™. This principle, also referred to as the Kangaroo Effect (see above videos), is based on habit which is a recurrent, unconscious pattern of behavior that one acquires through frequent repetition. As you train, your jumping muscles develop vertical memory making jumping effortless, unconscious and very instinctual similar to that of a kangaroo.

Air Alert® itself is a 2 phase (see right hand column) technique that requires the use of 6 highly effective and unique jump training exercises that are especially simple and very safe.  Phase I-Air Alert® guarantees to boost your vertical jump by 8 to 14 inches over 15 weeks while the optional, Phase II-Air Alert® Advanced, will add an additional 3-6  inches over 6 weeks.

The 6 Habitual Jump Training™ exercises (Leap Ups, Calf Raises, Step Ups, Thrust Ups, Burnouts and Squat Hops) require no weight training or any specialized equipment and for this reason instinctual jumping is attained.   The reason for this vertical gain is because the main focus of Air Alert® is not geared toward strength training, rather it is geared toward repetitive motion training which makes the program very safe and effective. Air Alert® requires that you use only your natural body weight and no additional weight resistance which does not fool your muscles like weights or special platform shoes do. When you strength train, your muscles rely on the weights to keep them strong. Once you quit lifting or using platform shoes, your strength goes down and along with it goes your vertical. With Air Alert® and Habitual Jump Training, you are creating instinctual, unconscious jumping ability which is built slowly over time.  You are helping the leg muscles develop vertical memory as opposed to horizontal memory achieved by running or walking. And as long as you maintain the jumping motion, simply by playing a jumping sport, you will maintain 98% of your vertical without ever having to go back and us Air Alert® a second time.

Phase I is Air Alert, the primary workout session. This 15 week, 3 day per week session develops raw jumping ability and guarantees to elevate your jumping ability by 8 inches to 14 inches higher.
